About Us

The company started with two schools – Taurean school in Surulere and Feyland school in Ebute-Metta. Pupils were taught to acquire a flawless command of the English Language, alongside developing Reading, Writing, Spelling and Speaking skills. They were also taught Etiquette. Other schools soon joined the list such as, Sunnyfield school, The Fountain school, Starland school, Chrisland schools, Corona Schools, Vivian Fowler Memorial College for Girls, Greensprings schools and more.

Over the years, spi:k rait saund rait has expanded its training scope to include broadcasters from radio and television stations, gentlemen of the clergy, politicians and government officials, CEOs of companies and individuals who are interested in improving their oral and self-presentation skills both professionally and socially, to enable them live their brand and be on a par with the rest of the global community.

Sidney Ufeli

Sidney Ufeli is a retired Controller, Presentation Training, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria. After eighteen years of service as a Broadcaster and Trainer at the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria – training announcers all over Nigeria and across Africa – he set up his own training institute in 1995.

Sidney was a recipient of the Announcer of the Year Award in 1983 and the 2017 Integrity Award in Business from the Nigerian Association of  Christian Journalist (NACJ).

Biola Ufeli

Director of Programmes

Biola joined Radio Nigeria in 1977 as a studio manager. Being constantly in the presence of announcers, and listening to them discuss pronunciations and how scripts should be read, kindled her interest in speech and communication.

She is a specialist in Stress, Rhythm and Intonation of English, Business and Social Etiquette.
